As demand for modern homes in established communities rises across many Canadian cities, infill projects are becoming increasingly popular. However, many of the plans builders offer are strikingly similar. To give this home a real soul, we focused on architectural elements that would make it stand out. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by custom walnut millwork and fine art photography. Open shelving in the kitchen allows the homeowners to display pottery, books and collected curiosities. Beyond builder-grade and move-in-ready, this home was a beautiful canvas upon which the owners could project their own history and personality.
