Modern Minimalist Family Home

I love working with long term clients, helping to write their story of home over the years. Such is the case with the homeowners of this modern custom home. For these busy professionals and their teen boys, modern minimalism and fuss-free maintenance was of utmost importance. My challenge was to identify and reflect their family’s story with the fewest elements possible. We started with a clean, bright palette and accented with darker woods for contrast. Crisp detailing on draperies and other soft elements added visual interest. For styling, I encouraged my clients to take their time and choose items carefully. We wanted each piece they displayed—from art to kitchen appliances to everyday dishes—to feel personal and curated just for them.
